Description

Rock Hard 4x4 is very proud to offer the Heaviest Duty Transfer Case Skid Plate for the Jeep Wrangler JK 2/4DR 2007 - 2017.

Hardcore rock crawlers and light duty fire road explorers alike need to add the Rock Hard 4x4 skid plate system to their build list. Protect your extremely vulnerable transfer case from trail debris and obstacles with our 3/16" thick plate steel skid plate. Fits all Wrangler packages including Rubicon and HEMI conversion.

Total Weight: 47 lbs.

Our 3/16" thick skid plate is made from a solid sheet of steel then bent, formed, and hand welded into it highly protective shape. When combined with our RH4x4 Oil Pan / Transmission Skid Plate System forms a seamless interlocking unit for ultimate protection.

Unique Design
Proven by the most hardcore Jeep JK drivers on trails like the Rubicon, Moab, Rausch Creek and more, our skid plate system design is the key to it popularity.

With creature comforts like our RH4x4 exclusive "rock dome" bolt head protectors for the supplied mounting hardware and total Transfer Case coverage - our skid system is undoubtedly the industry premium package.

Our system is cut and formed from a single sheet making it smooth and seamless. This gives you a true skid plate without rock catching and high centering flaws found in low-budget alternatives. We do more than just protect your transfer case from straight on impact though - we have flared the sides of our skid plate upwards for side impact protection that also helps glide you off the obstacle rather than high center.

Mounting
The RH4x4 transfer case skid plate mounts to your cross member and frame rails - not your transfer case mounts. This means our skid transfers zero vibration through your chassis. This allows your transfer case to continue to flex in its mounts naturally. This makes for a smoother and quieter ride like factory without the creaks, ringing, vibrating, and harsh performance of inferior systems.

NOTE: Aftermarket cross members may require customer supplied bolts. The pattern is correct however some manufacturers are using different thread patterns.

Strength
Our skid plate system is the industry standard because of the confidence it instills in each and every customer. Each skid is laser cut from 3/16" thick steel coated in our weather and debris resistant powder coat finish. Strength is proven on virtually all Jeep enthusiast forums with glowing reviews. Since 2007 our skid plate system has been the undisputed leader in undercarriage protection.

Components
RH4x4 skid plates are very recognizable for two major reasons: beefy unmatched strength and laser precision fitment. What makes up a RH4x4 skid plate is what makes it so strong.

Steel rear support / brace prevents collapse under extreme conditions / load.
When combined with Oil Pan Skid Plate forms a seamless interlocked level of protection.
Superior coverage versus OEM.
